Hello All,
I wanted to mention that I will be doing my full evening theatre show in North Hollywood, every weekend in December. Details are below. I have added a few new pieces and retooled the show, so it should be as interesting for me as the audience!

If you are in the LA area, please tell your friends, and consider it for mention in your club newsletter or at a meeting.

Everything you need to know, photos, maps, etc ... are at CarneyMagic.com

Hope to see you there!
best,
carney

Starting this Friday!

Carney’s Wonder Cabaret

Wonder Cabaret is much more than a magic show! Carney astounds as much with his stories, characters and unique presentations as with his world class sleight of hand. Wonder Cabaret combines Carney's love of magic, comedy, and music into a unique evening of entertainment.

Have a magic lesson with Faucett Ross! Chill as Dr. Klien makes a ghost appear and flex its muscles! Visit Johann Hofzinser's 19th Century Viennese Salon! Catch Mysto-mania with Mr. Mysto!

LA Weekly
"... a blessing ... Carney's an amiable, quick-witted Iowan with a twinge of sarcasm under his breath ... seamless technique ... makes a mockery of empiricism and the known mechanics of the universe."
The Tolucan
"... fresh and unique ... inventive ... go see it!"... he will astound you with his unique magic and charm you with his stories and characters."

Go go go and go again... John puts magic and theater together like no one else these days... the Fawcett Ross segment is worth twice the price of admission alone.

I second Pete's advice to go, go and go again. John puts on a GREAT theater show that should not be missed.

Was fortunate enough to catch bits of this show when John was at the Castle a few weeks back, and look forward to seeing the full show next month. Anything John does should be HIGHLY recommended, and if you've never seen him in person, this is a great opportunity.

I was lucky enough to go to John's "Wonder Cabaret" at its last inception. Truly a wonderful evening of magic - in every sense of the word magic.
Not only will I be going again, but I will take everyone I know - even my wife who hates magic and considers herself a "magic widow" because I go to the Castle once or twice a week.
DO NOT MISS THIS CHANCE TO SEE JOHN'S SHOW>

Though I've only seen parts of his show at the Magic Castle, John's work is both inspirational and sensational. Along with Max Maven's one-man-show the two best things I've seen in a long time!
John's love for the Art of Magic is really heartwarming.

Hi Folks,
This coming weekend, I am having my show video taped (for promotional purposes, not for commercial release). So I need an enthusiastic audience of attractive people smile

If you were planning on seeing the show, this weekend on Fri and Sat (the 9th and 10 of Dec) would be a great time to do it. And bring your enthusiastic, attractive friends.

Please, no tank tops, flip flops, overalls or winky blinky buttons!

I have two new pieces in the show, and a couple of surprises.

Thanks for the support!

John- Your Faucet Ross segment is one of the best pieces I've ever seen you do. The heart you bring to the performance is overwhelming. Congratulations!

I saw the show the last time he was in town. Overall it was great. My favorite part of the performance was the opening cups and balls and the card stuff he did. His misdirection is the best ive seen, ever! :genii:
