Do any of these tricks exist any other forms? I have versions I would like to publish and want to know who has the same ideas so I can credit the right people and not print ideas that are too similar to other peoples!
Impromptu Torn and Restored Card (face is seen the whole time. restored card appears in deck)
Torn and Restored Signed Post It Note
Ring On Rubber band which is broken open and restored.
Chewed and Restored Gum
The Exploding/Disappearing Lighter
Impromptu Raven style spell bound move
Appearing Walkman Headphones from spectator's ears.
A face up ambitious card routine where the card is signed and has an odd back.

Andy Leviss has something of that nature in his lecture and in his Look Out World! book. Its a fantastic effect and is extremely visual. The Exploding/Disappearing Lighter Gary Kurtz makes a lighter disappear in a flash of light in his second International Lecutre Video. Its part of a longer routine that is absolutely amazing. A face up ambitious card routine where the card is signed and has an odd back. In my future One Man EGO Issue I have a very similar routine that takes a few strange twists along the way. Jose has the issue, and I think its going out either this month or next. Hope that helps. But just because other people have created similar things, it doesn't mean that you should stop working on yours. Never let anything like that stop you from moving foward. --Andi

As Andi mentioned, I have a chewed and restored gum effect that is in my lecture notes, and is also a commercial item in pre-production by Elmwood Magic. The effect is called "A Sticky Situation".
Aaron Fisher also had a similar effect which appeared on Dan Harlan's impromptu magic videos a few years back; I'm not familiar with the method, although I spoke with Dan at the time and he assured me that mine was entirely different and I received full permission to release my effect.
Feel free to e-mail or call me and I'd be glad to discuss the effect with you privately :-)
Also, I don't know what effects he used in it, but Steve Bedwell had a walkman act that was very well received a few years back. I believe there's actually a video of it that Steve released some time ago.
Best wishes, Andy

Jay Sankey has a chewed-and-restored piece of gum (can't remember the name) in 100% Sankey. I have a chewed-and-restored piece of gum (called "ABC Gum") with a very similar effect but a completely different method. The Dark Card, sold by Camirand Academy (and other dealers) can be used for an ambitious card where the signed card changes back color. (And you don't have to have the card face up. The spectator can handle the signed card freely on both sides before and after the color change.) Simon Aronson has a very nice ring on rubberband effect called "Ringleader", although the band is not broken and restored. There's a realplayer video of the effect here .

Aaron Fisher's C&R gum is called "Eleanor Wrigley" and is in his notes "The Sleight Album".
Bedwell's Walkman routine is shown (Performance Only) on his A-1 tape from 1995 "Steve Bedwell Taped". It includes a series of challenge "object under hat" moves that would be of interest to anyone who does Card Under Glass.

Thank you everyone. I realise there are many effects similar to the ones I have created, I just don't want to publish identical handling. Check out:- http://www.ozmagic.barrysworld.net/tests/new_tricks/by_gum.htm for my handling of the gum. The site also has my t & r card.

Eew, messy! ;-)
Seriously, though, I can't speak for Aaron's method or any others, but it's entirely different than mine. Mine uses a gaff and ends up with a wrapped stick of gum.
