H. Syril Dusenbery (1894-1982) was the founding President of Pacific Coast Society of Magicians and later served as secretary.
At about 13 years old he was presented with two trunks of tricks which were purchased from a stranded magician. Dusenbery traveled extensively through Europe and the Orient to see the Hindoo, Chinese and Japanese magicians perform in their native land.
Dusenbery was considered an authority on "electrical magic".
