The Hamman Count is a false count with a packet of cards designed to show an odd number of cards, concealing the bottom half.
Developed by Brother John Hamman, it was described in The Card Magic of Bro. John Hamman S.M. (1958) by Paul LePaul, page 41, under The Mystic Nine.
