Herbert M. Richmond (1889-?) was a Baptist Minister and semi-professional ventriloquist and magician who began performing in 1919 as "Richmond the magician".

His specialty was patter building effects into a sequence. He did patter for Thayer items.[1]

Richmond was a contributor to Sphinx and Thayer's Magical Bulletin submitting patter for many effects.

In the patter included in Lots of Lawton (1971), he is stated as the "late" Richmond from Iowa.
