History of Conjuring and Magic was a book written by Henry R. Evans published by the International Brotherhood of Magicians (Kenton, Ohio) in 1928.
Contains an account of the history of the magical arts, from ancient Egypt through the Middle Ages and into the 20th century. Includes biographical portraits with descriptions of their acts of such magicians as Alexander Herrmann, Robert-Houdin, and Houdini.
Includes an appendix containing photographs of many well known magicians hands.
