Michael Anthony Perovich, an engineer and amateur magician in Los Angeles, was a frequent visitor of the Magic Castle who knew Dai Vernon.
Perovich was the person whom started referring Bruce Cervon's notebooks as the "Castle Notes". He used to keep notes too, which he discusses in the forward he wrote for the Castle Notebooks Vol 1 (2007)
Some of his own routines were published in Genii.
