Milton Ross

Milton Ross was a local magician magician in St. Louis who served as president of IBM Ring 1 in 1949.

Looking through the Linking Ring reports we see Ross first joining the new Spirit of St. Louis Club in 1934. By the end of that year he the chairman of the committee for handling all details connected with the presentation of Ring No. One's magic shows. During the year 1937 Ross and Forrest P. Hendricks were reviving the Spirit of St. Louis Newsletter which was published monthly for the members.

His wife was listed as performed "Scribble Talk" and " This 'N That" at am IBM "MEET THE LADIES" show in October 1940. She was a member of the St. Louis Magigals (a picture of them was printed in the April 1946 issue of the Linking Ring)

According to St. Louis Reports in Genii 1941 August Ross was transferred by his employer, Curtis Wright Airplane Company, to Buffalo, New York where he then joined Ring No. 12 in Buffalo.

He was back in St. Louis by 1942. He served various offices for the IBM Ring One over the years, including as president 1949. One of the last Reports that mention Ross is the January 1955.
