Madame Patrice born of a German mother in the UK. Madame Patrice originally assisted Charles Bertram. Later she became known as a very accomplished magician in her own right and was the first lady to be called a 'conjuress'. Married C. Lang Neil in 1893. Madame Patrice entertained royalty on a number of occasions; she was a very well-educated women and spoke several European languages.
