Raymond Toole Stott (1910-1982) was a British author, journalist, civil servant and bibliographer. He is known for his bibliographies of Somerset Maugham, circus publications and English-language conjuring books.

Biography

After several years as a journalist, he later became a press agent for Bertram Mills at Olympia and, in the thirties, as managing director of Ray Stott's Circus. Upon leaving the active side of show-business and became the Librarian in the Department of the Treasury Solicitor until his retirement.[1]
