Mokana, Magic dealer and escapologist.
Biography
Mayer James Goldston, was a younger brother of Will Goldston and ran "The Matahama" Magical Co. with him from about 1900 to 1904.
He performed as Mokana the Handcuff Prince. When touring in India with the Coronation Circus, he died of malaria, aged 23.
Designed the Mokana Shoe, which had a heel that swivelled open to reveal a secure compartment.
