Arthur Gaumond (b.1890-d.1952) a barber and magician who billed himself has "The man with the educated fingers".

Biography

Gaumond started doing magic in 1903 using one of Thurston's books as hisguide, practicing during the time between haircuts. He often got mail addressed to "The Magician Barber." [1]

He was instrumental in forming I.B.M. Ring 77 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. They would often meet in his shop.

Gaumond died suddenly of a heart attack in his shop. His last performance on June 15, 1952 was before a group of children in Salem, N. H. [2]
