Arpad Romek (1883-1960) was a still life painter and amateur magician.

Biography

He studied art at the Academy of Fine Arts (of Budapest)[1]. He studied magic under Dr. Lenard beginning in 1919.

He specialty was comedy magic and he was a member of the Magyar Amateur Magusok Egyesulete (M. A. M. E., The Hungarian Amateur Magicians). He contributed some effects to the Sphinx.[2]
