Dave Campbell (1928-1994), amateur magician specializing in close-up magic, served as President of the Magician's Club of Coatbridge (1968-1980).

A member of the Scottish Conjurers' Association, he was the winner of the first prize in the Close-up Competition of the Scottish Association of Magical Societies ' convention in 1972.^[1]
