Famadas (1908-1991), aka Professor Colmar, was a professional magician in Brazil who began performing in 1916.
Biography
He was a member of the S.A.M., I.B.M., I.M.C., Sodedade Brasilelra de Magia (Brazilian Magical Society), and Magicka Loze of Praha.[1]
Famadas made a specialty of the history of magic and was a collector of tricks, illusions. He had been a contributor to many magical magazines.
He was also an official correspondent for the Society of American Magicians and other magical societies.[2] He held l.B.M. No. 2678 and was a member of the Order of Merlin Excalibur and Ring 26.[3]
