Ed Mellon (1923-1960) a specialist in mentalism effects.

Biography

In the early 1950s, he teamed up with James Swoger to produce many mental effects. Ed Mellon's house organ for his business was called Mental-Wise.

He was elected as Vice President of the Magic Dealers Association and attended the IBM-SAM Convention, in Boston just before his unexpected death of a heart attack.

He widow, Jean R. Mellon, carried on the business under the name of "ED MELLON RELEASES".[1]
