Prof. Nishan Amdounian (1888-1935), often credited in books as Andounian, was a magician and mentalist of note.
Biography
Amdounian was I.B.M. No. 801, attended the St. Louis Ring No. 1 meetings, and S.A.M. No. 1235[1]
He was the inventor of the "Enchanted Card Slide", which was sold by Joe Berg and Max Holden.[2]
In 1934, Amdounian was mentioned in The Sphinx attending the Rhode Island S.A.M. Assembly.[3]
The 1920 census, lists his occupation as a barber and birth place as Turkey.[4][5]
