The League has awarded Honorary Vice Presidencies to members and non-members who  have made significant contributions to the Society and to the world of magic in general. Those who have been so honoured are the late [[Paul Daniels]],[[Jack Ledwick]], [[Maurice Howarth]],[[John Tattersall]] and [[Trevor Dawson]]. The current Honorary Vice President is Debbie McGee.
[[Johnny Hart]] was an Honorary Member and [[Sooty]], [[Norman Greenhalgh]] and [[Brian Berry]] are the current Honorary Members.


The League is still very active in the East Lancashire area and full details are available on the Society's web site http://www.memel.org.uk
The current Chairman [[Dr Roger Woods]] http://rogerwoodsmagic.co.uk has written two volumes of the history of the League.

Modern Mystic League, Blackburn & District Society of Magicians was founded in 1914.[1]
