Alexander Fredrik (April 23, 1878 - ) was an illusionist in the early 1900s that performed on the Lyceum circuit as "Fredrik the Great".
Around l913 when forced to release his stage name to a printing company that had a large stock of his playbills found out that his show was in trouble. Both Willard the Wizard and Harry Boughton (whom went on to become Blackstone) would adopt the name to purchase them at a bargain price.[1] [2]
