Eddie Songest (1904-?) was a semi-pro magician who's comedy magic was a feature of many Magic Circle functions, concerts and suppers.
Biography
Songest contributed to Magazines and Newspapers.[1] He had a unique comedy style, wearing a monocle and carrying his props in a carrier bag. He may be remembered most for his "Sausages" routine.
He joined The Magic Circle in 1932. An MIMC, he gathered a large library, which along with his props, which he left to the Society. [2]
