Biography

The award-winning Tristan (George Arkomanis) constitutes one of the most distinguishable and talented cases in the field of worldwide art. His unique capacity as a magician, composer and conductor (orchestra leader), has made the internationally recognized sleight of hand artist Michael Ammar to attribute to him the nickname “The Maestro Magician”.

He was born in Athens and from a very young age he was in contact with arts, growing in a cultural home-an artists’ draw. He started early his education as a musician, while at the same time he made his first steps in the world of magic, practicing amateurish tricks. He attended studies of major music scholars, getting degrees in “Special Harmony”, “Counterpoint”, “Fugue” (National Music Academy), “Composition” and “Conducting” (University of West London, LCM). Furthermore, he is the first Greek who gained the title “FLCM”.

He took part in conferences, seminars, workshops and master classes (magic, music, music therapy, performance, kinaesthetic, philosophy, psychology, parapsychology, child psychology and sociology) of major artists (Kevin James, Jeff McBride, John Howard, Eugene Burger, Theodore Antoniou, Michael Vincent and many more).

He started his professional course as a magician in 2005, co-funding the well-known artistic team “Arko Magic”, which took part as a finalist in the competitive show “Greece’s got talent 2010”, leaving the judges and the spectators truly breathless!

Since then and until now, he has made plenty of appearances on TV & Radio shows, hotels, restaurants, night clubs, casinos, events, theatres, homes, places for kids' entertainment etc. He has “amazed” both kids and adults during marriages, baptisms/christenings, dances, banquets, conferences, companies’ galas, parties etc. Also, he has undertaken the promotion, presentation and advertisement of several products, creating innovative “magic” ideas!

He has co-operated with: MTV, Intercontinental Hotel, Expo-Athens, Regency Casino Thessalonica, British Embassy, Friday’s, Gialino Music Theater, Caravel Hotel, ANT1, Soho, An Art Artistry, Avenue Mall, Theasis, Politehnio Theater, Wella, Pizza Hut, St. George Lycabettus Hotel, Occhio Lounge Bar, NET, Dais Theater, Beer Academy, The Mall Athens, Metropolitan Hotel, Golden Hall, Flocafe, IANOS, Half Note, Hytirio Theater, Goody’s, Smart Park, Star Channel and many others.

He has taught magic and music in various art & culture halls, academic institutions etc. (The American College Deree, The Greek Academy of Conjurers, The Centre of Classical & Contemporary Music etc.). He has also written articles, interviews, essays and poems of general content, but mainly about arts, society, supernatural, life etc. Many of those have been published in newspapers and magazines (Ta Nea, Vimagazino, Magician, Ogdoo etc.)

He is considered the only one worldwide who is involved especially with music in the art of magic and he has given seminars, master classes and lectures about it. He has composed innovative music for many artists as well as shows, performances, theatres, documentaries, advertisements, etc. (One Magic Show, Magic Sundays, Shadows in the Dust, Marble Thoughts and many others). He has brought out two music albums (Giati m’agapises 2011, Rainy Night 2013).

He is a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (I.B.M.), the Greek Academy of Conjurers and a premier member of Las Vegas Magic & Mystery School. He has been awarded with countless distinctions, honored and dithyrambic reviews both as a magician and as a composer at festivals and competitions.

He offers with his great social contribution -unselfishly- his magic at schools, constitutions, families and other people that belong to susceptible groups.

Tristan manipulates the senses of the audience through innovative and impressive magic shows of high-standard, adjusted to the frames and needs of each event, having always in mind the quality entertainment through art. His work is characterized by uniqueness, creativity, professional, artistic and aesthetic consistence, and that is why he is accounted in the most important and popular Greek magicians!
