Dr. Charles E. Gurney (1901-1961) was a member of the Portland Society of Magicians for many years, serving in many capacities including President in 1952. He also served as convention treasurer during the last Portland Convention held in the late 1950s at Gearhart.
Biography
Dr. Gurney was a plastic surgeon by profession and highly respected on the Pacific Coast. In addition to magic, he had many wide and varied interests.[1][2]
