Michael Perovich (b. 1946), an engineer and amateur magician in Los Angeles, is an active member of the Academy of Magical Arts and a frequent visitor of the Magic Castle.
Biography
Perovich was a columnist for the M-U-M magazine and published an article on J. Warren Keane in Magic Magazine.
Some of his own routines were published in Genii, Talisman, The Ganson Book.
Perovich, a friend of Dai Vernon, is the person who started referring to Bruce Cervon's notebooks as the Castle Notebooks. He used to keep notes too, which he discusses in the forward of the Castle Notebooks Vol 1 (2007).
He is currently (2014) the President of S.A.M. Assembly 22 (Los Angeles) and is an active member of The Conjurors’ Literary Society.
