Correct spelling
can you give some information about the name Allen Shaw ... was it his stage name or, or, or is it misprinting. In the article it is referred to Allan Shaw ( a - e ) thanks, --Cortini 03:10, 25 June 2015 (EST)
In "The Sphinx, Vol. 31, No. 10, December 1932", Who’s Who in Magic, page 407, he spells his name ALLAN SHAW, also in "The Linking Ring, Vol. 19, No. 5, Jul 1939", Applications For Membership, page 376, so I think Allen is wrong. His real name is also given on the page http://boards.ancestry.com/surnames.crankshaw/155.1/mb.ashx
