Biography

Fried served the Navy on the USS Hancock and attended Brooklyn College on the GI Bill.[1]

He founded Paul Fried, Inc, in the 1950s to manufactured magic tricks and jokes. In 1960 he bought D. Robbins and Co., Inc. from David Robbins, who had founded it in 1916.[2]
