Ronald Haines (May 13, 1906 - April 9, 1974) was born J. Ronald Haines to Quaker parents in Fayette County, Ohio. He attended the Engineering College at the University of Cincinnati. After serving in the US Army during World War II, he worked for the John Snyder, Jr. at the Fox Lake Card company.
Ronald purchased the company when John died in 1947 and renamed it Haines House of Cards which he ran until his death for more then 30 years.
He was also a member of Ring 71 in Cincinnati and served as president of IBM, SAM and the M.D.A..
