Jonathan Harrington (1809 - May 4, 1881), born in Boston, was a ventriloquist and magician who performed mostly around New England from 1826 until his death. He did do a tour through the South and West.
In his later years, he became affectionately known as "Old Harrington."
Harrington's final performance was at York, Maine, in April, 1881, where he contracted a cold which developed into pneumonia that caused his death. He died at his home in Revere, Massachusetts.
