Ernesti was known as the Clown Magician in the Bainbridge Island, Washington area.
A member of the Seattle Magic Ring #59, he won a P.C.A.M. Trophy for comedy at the 1936 convention in Seattle.
In 1954 he was ill and bed-ridden, possibly to never walk again. But four years later he road a bike blindfolded as a feature attraction celebrating the revitalizing of Winslow, Washington. [1]
In 1970, he produced the independent journal Swami Speaks, despite being only able to use one hand and partially blind.
He held IBM number 23872 when the Linking Ring reported his death.[2]
