Roland Travers (1891 - May 1, 1970) began performing on Oriental style act in 1901 and left home in California at 17 to join Adelaide Hermann on tour.

Later in vaudeville, he performed as "The Illusionist Extraordinary". He created the illusion for his act where a lady vanishes from the top of a ladder.
Later in life, he created special equipment for a number of magicians including Dell O'Dell.
He was killed in an automobile accident on his way to a S.A.M. meeting.
