Mystical Heith, according to his biography in the first issue of his magazine Magic Key was born in Atlanta Georgia, to Irish parents. Known at that time as the Heath Family of Airealists and Acrobats, he was trained to work in the act as soon as possible and was also trained to be a contortionist.[1]

In 1913, events brought him to Carroll, Iowa where he started in the manufacture of Illusions.

Heith published the Magic Key from April 1917 until June 1918.
