Fred C. Lackman was an amateur magician in Asheville, North Carolina who did private parties.

He began magic in 1926, specializing in silks, illusions and coins.

He was president of the Society of Asheville Magis and member of the IBM and IMC.[1]

His effect "JUMPING SPIRIT CARD" was published in the December 1934 Linking Ring issue.

Based on reports in the Linking Ring, he was still sponsoring members in North Carolina as late as 1948.
