Flash Paper is chemically (Nitrocellulose) treated paper that will burn very bright and fast, with no smoke and no ash. It's very popular in magical effects to make objects appear in a flash of light.
Usually sold in sheets and a 4" square (1/4 sheet) gives good results.
It is classified as a hazardous material, which means you usually have to pay a Hazmat fee when you order it.
