Ed Clinchard was a long time member of the IBM Ring 106 in New Jersey and served as its president in the 1960s.

Known as "Uncle Ed", he moved to Lincoln, Nebraska and joined Ring No. 250 some time in the 1980s. He also received the "Order of Merlin" for 25 consecutive years of membership in the IBM.[2]

His promotional photo can be seen in the Conjuring Arts exhibit "The Many Faces of Magic"[3]
