Edward C. Kalbfleisch performed as "Edwards, The Magical Marine" in the 1920s also doing ventriloquism with his puppets "Tommy" and "Jerry".
His first public performance was an act built entirely by himself was at the age of 14. [1]
He later joined the Marines where he was known as "The Magical Marine" entertaining the troupes during his free time.[2]
In the 1920s he has joined with Sam Paul and Walter B. Gibson featuring his magic and illusions.
Kalbfleisch was also one of the founding members of the SAM Assembly #4 in Philadelphia.
