Magicana was a bi-monthly Magic Periodical from New Zealand started by the Waikato Society of Magicians in the 1950s and was published continuously for 60 years. The first issue was January-February 1953.
The editors of Magicana over its history were Harold Chandler GMM 1953-1955, Colin Smith 1955-1980, Jim Reilly GMM 1980-2000 and Michael Woolf 2000-2013.
Escalating costs and diminution of advertising lead to the final issue being produced in June 2013, Volume 60 Number 361 .[1]
