Gustave Fasola ( 1870 - January 14, 1929), a British magician, was born Fergus Greenwood.
He toured Australia from 1911-1912 as "The famous Indian Fakir".
He devised an Appearing Elephant stage illusion which he sold to Howard Thurston whom performed it.
