Zirka (1877-1910) born Agnes Martini in Silesia, Germany, was the wife of L'Homme Masqué and performed a manipulation act as "The Queen of Cigarettes".
Biography
Since she had small hands, she had to develop sleights and handlings differently from her husband. She is credited with the "tiptilt" sleight for vanishing an unit cigarette.
About 1905, L'Homme Masque bought a wine farm at Bordeaux, to which he and his wife retired.
She eventually died, nearly blind, in the insane asylum "Saint-Pons," in Nice.[1][2][3]
