John Ramsay (March 13, 1877 - January 19, 1962), born in Scotland, was an amateur close-up magician that won the micromagic category at the 1955 FISM held in Amsterdam.

He performed at the IBM convention in Batavia, New York and in Chicago (1950). He was a president of the IBM British Ring.

He was a mentor to Andrew Galloway.
