Push-off Count is a false count that deals two or more cards off the deck as one.
Mentionned (but not explained) in Hugard's Magic Monthly, Vol. 5, N° 10, march 1948 as the “Push-off False Count” by Fred Braue, page 403.
Explained in Dai Vernon's More Inner Secrets of Magic, page 84, 1960.
