John Henry Anderson Jr. was the eldest son of John Henry Anderson "The Great Wizard of the North".
His apprenticeship was served by assisting his famous father. At the conclusion of their second world tour, his father returned to Scotland while Junior remained in America at the age of eighteen.
Anderson Jr. helped Professor E. Cooper Taylor get his start as a professional magician.
Houdini wrote to Fredrick Powell in 1918 that he heard that John Anderson Jr. died (at the early age of 35) while confined in jail.[1]
