George Troseth
George Troseth ( 1895? - January 18, 1985), known as the "Tricky Trixter", was an active Chicago magician. He was a busy performer during the years that Werner Dornfield was a busy M.C.
He was a salesman for Libby by day and had many Chicago hotels and clubs as customers. When a magician or MC was needed for a hotel job at night, Troseth was usually first in their mind.
He wrote for magic magazines, including Genii, keeping others abreast on the Chicago magic scene.
After semi-retiring, Troseth moved to Florida, remaining active in magic as the Dean of Assembly 76 in Miami.
