Harry Kaye was a professional magician specializing in magic with humor.

He later became a businessman, traveling many thousands of miles each year in pursuit of his business.

He became very active in the magic community as member of the Magic Circle, I.B.M., I.M.C., and the Merlin Magical Society.

Kaye wrote a "Magical Gossip" column for the I.M.C. "Seven Circles" journal. He was later an editor The Budget, the official journal of the IBM British Ring #25.

The Merlin Magical Society presents the "Harry Kaye Cup" to the best eight minute act, which was first held in 1939 and then as an annual event after the war starting in 1948. [1]

Kaye was serving as president of the IBM British Ring #25 in 1951 when he died.[2]
