Rue Walde, The Society Entertainer, was the stage name of Rudolph "Rudy" Walde. He was a semi-professional that did full evening shows starting in 1928. [1]

He also played saxophone in an orchestra. Walde would do a magic act in front of the bandstand, which included rope, card tricks and small magic including an imitation of Cardini (giving credit).[2]

Walde was a member of SAM.
