Vanishing Deck is a classic plot in card magic in which the entire deck of cards vanish or leaves one card behind.
Many versions have been developed, going back as early as 1876 by Professor Hoffmann. (looking for a reference to it)

- Version in Sleight of Hand by Edwin Sachs (1877)
- A gaffed card version was developed by Theodore DeLand around 1909.
