Thomas Low Nichols (1815–1901) was a dietitian, author and reformer.

Born in Orford, New Hampshire, he was a journalist and prolific author who promoted such reforms as health foods, free love, and spiritualism.

After earning a medical qualification in 1850, he joined his physician wife, Mary Grove Nichols, in training hydropathic physicians. They moved to Europe in 1861.

He wrote A Biography of the Brothers Davenport in 1864.
