Excerpt from The Magician Monthly, May 1914:
Our portrait this month is of Mr SIDNEY JOSOLYNE, one of the most original magicians we have ever had the pleasure of meetlng. He is a member of the Magicians' Club and is an exceedingly dexterous sleight-of-hand performer, giving an excellent Oriental act of magic and specialising in the Chinese rings which he handles with a marvellous ease and grace. Mr. Josolyne has confessed to us an undying devotion to magic and is everlastingly puzzling out new tricks and illusions. His favorite axiom is that a trick in the head is worth two in a book. He also tells us that he has invented one illusion which he believes puzzle every Iiving magician, and we are exceedingly anxious to see this as we know the capabilities of this performer and predict a brilliant future for him.
