What is the source of the statement that "John Henry Anderson performed second sight around 1838 and invented the term"? I found nothing to support this. Especially that Houdini didn't list Anderson among the predecessors of Robert-Houdin in the chapter about the second sight. Also, the "second sighted sybil" poster, as shown in https://collections.vam.ac.uk/item/O1170183/the-world-of-magic-poster-culliford-c-j/, is clearly not of J.H. Anderson but Prof. Anderson (Philip Prentis Hind) and this "Miss Anderson" is his wife.
