Dr. Rome (?-c.1968), billed as "The Aristocrat of Magic," played in the Ziegfeld Follies and George White's Scandals before touring throughout the country with his "Show of Wonders", "Chamber of Horrors", and "It's All in Fun."

Biography

Rome was in show business 45 years. He toured for 20 years in vaudeville and produced and starred in two motion pictures "A Night in the Orient" and "Straight and Crooked Magic."

In the late 1960s he moved to Indianapolis to live with his daughter.
