Agosta-Meynier (1861 - 1942) began performing professional in 1874.

Founder and President of two magical societies in France: L'Association Syndicale des Artistes Prestidigitateurs in 1903 and later the Le Syndicat International des Artistes Prestidigitateurs in 1928.

Agosta-Meynier also founded two magic periodicals: Le Journal de la prestidigitation (1905-1914) and Le Prestidigitateur in 1919.[1]
