Al Munro (1925-2002), a jeweler, was a regular attendee of the FFFF convention and founding member of the Canadian Association of Magicians.
Biography
Munro began as a juggler and clown during World War II entertaining the men on his ship and later performing for various clubs in his home town. He then developed a manipulative act during which had a costume change into a clown.
He was a member the SAM and the IBM (#22443, Order Of Merlin) Rings #256 (London, Ont.), #49 (Hamilton, Ont.), and #12 (Buffalo, NY).
Later in life, known for his 'Geritol Kid' act, and lectured for many local I.B.M. Rings with his Rocky Racoon, and his self made coin effects.[1]
